Advocacy and Publications
Advocacy
At NOVAS, we are committed to being a strong voice for those experiencing homelessness, addiction and social exclusion. Through our advocacy work, we want to influence policy, raise public awareness and promote systemic change that addresses the root causes of homelessness and inequality.
NOVAS advocates for better access to services, support and housing for our clients, residents and tenants. We campaign for greater social justice, equity and the provision of support that is rooted in dignity, empowerment and trauma informed practice.
We advocate as an independent organisation and through collective bargaining, to ensure better outcomes for the people we serve. NOVAS is a member of Irish Homeless Policy Group, the Irish Coalition to End Youth Homelessness, The Dublin Homeless Network and FEANTSA, among other platforms that campaign for inclusion and access for marginalised groups
Publications
Our publications include research, policy briefs, and annual reports. They highlight the realities faced by our clients and offer effective solutions. By sharing knowledge and insights, we strive to inform and inspire action among stakeholders, decision-makers, and the wider community. All our publications incorporate a strong client voice.
