How you can help make a difference
Make a Christmas Donation
Winter is an especially harsh and unforgiving time for the people we support. It can be cold, lonely, and is often challenging. But with your help, we can bring warmth and hope to those who need it most.
Donate to our NOVAS Christmas Sleep Out Campaign now and support adults and children experiencing homelessness or at risk of being homeless this Christmas.
Buy Christmas Cards
Make a difference this Christmas by sending NOVAS Christmas cards, designed by some of our clients to your friends and family. All the proceeds will go towards services for people affected by homelessness.
Become a Monthly Donor
A monthly donation for as little as €5 will make a lasting impact in the life of someone who needs your support.
Donate in Memory
Giving in memory to NOVAS is a meaningful way to pay tribute to someone by making a difference to the lives of others. Please accept our deepest condolences if someone close to you has passed. We are extremely grateful to you for considering us at this difficult time.

How we have made
a difference

For many years, my life was shaped by addiction, homelessness and hardship. I spent 15 years moving between the streets, prison, mental health institutions and hostels in Limerick. Prison became my second home, and hostels were often the only safe places I had.
Without the support of services like NOVAS, Coolmine, Ana Liffey and Bedford Row, I don’t believe I’d be alive today. They believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself and gave me the chance to start again.
In 2017, pregnant and at a crossroads, I entered treatment in Coolmine. I spent 15 months in residential treatment and a year in aftercare, that’s where my real rebuilding began. Recovery gave me tools, structure and a new way to look at life.
Since then, I’ve gained experience working with Coolmine, Ana Liffey, and now NOVAS, where I’m proud to support others on their own journeys. I’ve also returned to education, studying for a Level 8 degree in Addiction and Community Development, something I never thought possible.
Today, I’m a mother of four, living in my own home, working, and continuing to grow. My story is proof that change is possible, hope is real, and recovery works.
