Long-term housing.
NOVAS have a number of long-term housing units scattered throughout local communities in Limerick, Kerry and Dublin. These properties provide high quality homes for low-income single adults, couples and families. Some of these households have issues relating to disability, children with special needs or previous experience of homelessness.
Such households enjoy security of tenure, pay affordable rents and are supported by our National Housing Co-ordinator and our internal maintenance team. All properties acquired by NOVAS are done so in conjunction with the relevant local authority and tenants are chosen from the social housing list in the region. In 2015 NOVAS added to its existing stock through the acquisition of eight family homes in Limerick city and four apartments in Tralee town, for low-income households in the respective regions. It is our strategic objective to increase our housing stock by at least 100 units over the next five years. For further information on our long-term housing units contact Sabrina O’Reilly on sabrina.oreilly@novas.ie or on 083 4763468.
